Learning Journey, Inc. began
as DML Training and Consulting,
Inc., which was formed in 1989
by Donna
Long. For the first ten
years of operations, DML created
community-wide quality process
initiatives called Quality
First and Quality
Now. Partnering with
Chambers of Commerce and Community
Colleges in Daytona Beach, Gainesville,
Ft. Lauderdale, Osceola County,
Putnam County and Manatee County,
DML worked with hundreds of
private and public sector organizations,
helping them to increase productivity
and improve their bottom lines.
In addition to the Chamber/Community
College initiatives, Donna continues
to serve hundreds of private
and public sector organizations
by creating and delivering programs
on the following topics:
- Leadership
- Customer Service
- Effective Communication
- Effective Interviewing Skills
- Teamwork
- Emotional Intelligence
- Quality Process Improvement
Workshop Design and
Train-the-Trainer
Donna has worked with companies
including Disney, Columbia
Medical Center, Darden Restaurants,
and American Express, developing and conducting
train-the-trainer sessions
so that internal facilitators
could teach the programs.
